Deep crimson red. An exotic mixture of aromas such as Turkish delight, blood plums, violet, blueberry and white pepper. Medium-bodied with flavours of dark cherry and spiced fruit cake. The tannins are fine, and the mouth coating and the finish are plush and round, showing the synergy of blending these two varieties. Goes well with beef skewers or Moroccan spiced grilled eggplant covered in sautéed ripe tomatoes, chilli and fresh herbs.
