Travaglini Gattinara best expresses the classic qualities of the appellation; it is a wine with marked minerality and complexity. Deep ruby red in colour with garnet reflections. On the nose, aromas of red fruit, blackberry, plum and licorice with hints of vanilla and leather. Full-bodied palate, with intense flavours of cherry, raspberry and spice culminating in a long and smooth finish. Outstanding with red meat, game, and hard cheeses.

Complex wine where the graceful aromas of sweet violets and pomegranates are allied to smoky woodland, licorice root and a whiff of cocoa powder. Firm on the palate, with a full body, dusty yet ripe tannins and long, crisp acidity. This 2020 is powerful and not without grace.
