A family winery since 1600, Selbach-Oster’s wines have been associated with balanced, precise Mosel wines for many years. This Kabinett comes from their "home vineyard" of Zeltinger Himmelreich, just behind their village. Fermentation here is natural, mostly in old Mosel Fuder barrels, in a very old traditional cellar, right on the Mosel. Johannes Selbach always says a true Mosel Kabinett should taste like Mosel well water, and his Kabinetts always prove this statement's truth. Crisp, clear, and thirst quenching, ripe but never too sweet.
