In 2012, fifty years after the founding of Cantine San Marzano, the Cinquanta Collection was born. As a non-vintage wine, it has been designed for the occasion, a precious blend of the best red grape varieties typical of Salento. Powerful and structured, with a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits and spices.
The San Marzano Collezione Cinquanta Vino Rosso d'Italia NV is a red wine blend of Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes. Aged for 12 months in french oak barrels this is an intense and complex wine showing fruity aromas of prunes and ripe red fruits combined with spicy notes of vanilla and liquorice. Opulent, full bodied and smooth on the palate with a deliciously long finish.
