With the hue of neon yellow, the aromas are ripe and reminiscent of a European bakery at Christmas. Sauternes also comes to mind, as the ‘late harvest’ aromas of honey, candied almonds, golden raisin and dried apricot pour over the rim, and as the wine unfolds, Meyer lemon, crème brûlée and roasted nuts will dazzle you.  On the palate, freshly ripped-from-the-garden herbs, yellow plum and pomelo tickle the taste buds, while the rich, round and plump texture carries through a long finish.

A delicious wine for lighter proteins, like roasted chicken, beer can chicken, chicken tagine or cedar plank salmon paired with some char-grilled green veg.  If you’re feeling like something with a little more flavour punch, a kale Caesar salad or paella with saffron and smoked paprika should do the trick!
