Aka, with it's deep red label, and named for the vermillion color of official stamps used throughout Asia, takes its place in Masumi's four-color palette flagship lineup -  to paint your daily palate!  With its unique flavour profile based on new variations of Masumi's famous yeast number seven,  AKA (Red) is bright on the surface yet deep, brewed as a yamahai for complexity, with subtle fruit and dairy aromas and a refreshing acidity underpinned by savory umami.

The subtle creamy aroma, like its colour, is a layer of gorgeous and calm umami. When combined with ingredients with rich flavours and dishes that are well seasoned, the synergistic effect of sake and side dishes enhances each flavour.
