With over 170 years of history the Ippolito winery is the oldest in the region of Calabria and only grows native cultivars on old vines. Greco Bianco is likely the highest quality white grape variety, growing here for 1000 years – a true autochthonous variety. Not to be confused with Greco (from Campania), this fresh and zesty white wine shows the terroir with aromas and flavours of tropical fruits, citrus notes and the unmistakable saline finish that comes from grapes being grown by the sea.
