Description:
Hunter Laing have been bottling and blending since 1949, during which time they have been accumulating and maturing some very special whiskies. They have also acquired great skill in selecting the right time to bottle these gems. Their Old & Rare “Platinum” series of cask strength bottlings, launched in 2001, is one result of this skillful craft.
This is a splendid Speyside single malt from the Dufftown distillery, matured for 30 years in a single bourbon barrel between November 1991 and May 2022.
The whisky was independently bottled by Hunter Laing, releasing a total of 247 cask-strength bottles for its Old & Rare Platinum series.
