This Premier Cru from the esteemed ‘Les Serpentieres’ vineyard in Savigny les Beaune is a superb expression of Pinot Noir. In the glass, it reveals a bright ruby hue with subtle garnet reflections. Aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, and violets lead the bouquet, accented by hints of earthy undergrowth and delicate spice. The palate is medium-bodied, offering an elegant structure with fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Layers of raspberry, cranberry, and a touch of savoury minerality evolve into a lingering, silky finish. The wine showcases beautiful balance and purity, making it approachable now but promising further complexity with a few years of cellaring. Optimal drinking is suggested between 2024 and 2032.
