CUATRO RAYAS ORGANIC VERDEJO 750 ml

The largest winery in Rueda, Cuatro Rayas is a co-operative founded in 1935 that produces a wide range of wines in many styles from 300 vineyards, including some more than 100 years old. From the winery's organic line, this 100 percent Verdejo was fermented in stainless steel from grapes harvested at night.

Pale lemon in colour, it boasts aromas of pear, apple and fennel. The same flavours carry on to the palate, but with a touch of minerality and some of the pleasant bitterness often found with Verdejo. Try it with roast chicken, grilled shrimp or soft cheese.
