Description:
Château Patache d’Aux is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The nose is fruity and offers racy minerality as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of fresh raspberry and strawberry, with small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, pepper, and discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, offering freshness and precision as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/ripe raspberry, toasted/chocolate as well as a hint of coffee. Tannins are finely dry. Good length.
