Catherine and Pierre Berton’s families have been involved in the world of wine for centuries, and they have been making wine since the 80’s, going organic in 1991.
Breton is the french word for Cab Franc, a grape they specialize in.
This wine is made from Grolleau. The grapes spend five days on skins before being pressed off into tank for fermentation. When the wine is nearly dry, it is racked and bottled, where it completes fermentation under pressure.
