Description:
With an intense ruby red garnet the nose on this wine has sweet notes of ripe fruit, plum jam and spicy notes. It velvety smooth and round on your palate with a great long persistence. Grape blend is a classic Corvina, Rondinella and other varieties. This wine has been aged in wood for 12 -18 months. This wine has been prepared by the "Ripasso" method, traditional techinique in February with maceration of 15-20 days on skins, or fermented with Recioto Amarone Valpolicella wine, resulting in a second fermentation to give the wine more complexity and smoothness.
