Description:
The 2019 Edición Limitada from Bodegas LAN is a distinguished red wine from Spain's renowned Rioja region. This limited edition blend comprises 82% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo, and 8% Graciano, sourced from 35 to 40-year-old vines in the Viña Lanciano estate. The wine undergoes meticulous vinification, including malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, followed by aging for 8 months in new French oak barriques and an additional 7 months in new Russian oak barrels.
Colour: Ripe cherry red, deeply colored and bright.
Aroma: Intense aromas of ripe, almost candied black fruit such as plum, blackberry, and blackcurrant, complemented by notes of cocoa, toffee, black tobacco, spices, and a mineral streak characteristic of the Viña Lanciano estate.
Palate: Warm and velvety, with a round, ripe profile. The wine exhibits a very tannic yet elegant structure, offering flavors that mirror its aromatic profile.
